Many squash and padel courts are made in China. Prices can be attractive, but quality, paperwork and delivery vary between factories. Use this checklist to compare suppliers — whether you buy direct or through VELNUZ.

Thickness (the VELNUZ reference specification for squash uses 12 mm), tempered safety glass tested to the relevant standard (WSF cites BS EN 12600 and ANSI Z97.1 for squash), low-iron option, printing and edge work.

Drawings that match WSF squash court specifications (9.75 × 6.40 m singles) or FIP padel rules (20 × 10 m).
03Steel (padel)+
Profile sizes, galvanising or coating, and the anchoring details your engineer needs.
04Floor and turf+
Squash: maple surface and subfloor build-up. Padel: turf type, pile and infill.
05Lighting+
Luminaire count, wattage and voltage matched to your country.

01Is it safe to buy a padel or squash court from China?+
It can be, if the specification, inspection, packing and payment terms are agreed in writing before production. Compare suppliers on the same specification and trade term.
02What does FOB price mean for a padel court?+
FOB means the price covers the court kit loaded on a ship at the Chinese port. Freight, insurance, import duty, installation and site works are added on top.
03What glass should a squash court use?+
WSF requires transparent walls to be safety materials tested to the national standard, such as BS EN 12600 and ANSI Z97.1. The VELNUZ reference specification uses 12 mm low-iron tempered glass.
04Can VELNUZ supply contractors and distributors?+
