A Bangkok building fit-out and a resort court elsewhere in Thailand can need very different delivery arrangements. Define the final venue, the handling route and the site works before choosing a padel enclosure or glass squash court package.
VELNUZ Courts is a Singapore-based supplier of all-glass squash courts, glass back wall systems and padel courts, working with manufacturing partners in China. This guide combines linked official information with practical questions for your project team.
01 / THAILAND PROJECT GUIDE
Describe how the venue will be used
For an outdoor or partially covered padel project, state the proposed hours of play and how users will reach the court. Give the local designer the site levels and drainage proposal, and ask them to review the roof and base interfaces together where cover is proposed.
For a resort, identify guest routes and maintenance access as well as the playing area. Ask which parts of the site can be closed during construction. These are design questions for the actual property; a standard court image cannot establish the suitability of the location.
02 / THAILAND PROJECT GUIDE
Resolve onward delivery to the actual property
State the province and exact site address, including any additional transfer needed after the main freight movement. Ask the logistics provider to identify the vehicle, unloading arrangements and storage needed at the destination. For a restricted-access property, discuss the size of the largest components before confirming the shipment.
If the installation is indoors, measure the route from the unloading point through doors and corridors. Allocate responsibility for lifting and handling the glass. Do not leave this work implied within a general description of “delivery”.
03 / THAILAND PROJECT GUIDE
Prepare Thai import declarations using the goods list
Thai Customs’ Laem Chabang office describes import goods declarations and supporting documents, and directs importers to check controls on regulated goods. Use that information with your appointed customs representative. Thai Customs import procedure ↗
Have the importer review the component descriptions, intended use and applicable requirements before dispatch. Identify separately supplied lighting and other accessories rather than assuming the entire shipment has one identical treatment. Confirm current procedure and documentation for the selected entry route.
04 / THAILAND PROJECT GUIDE
Decide between a new court and a targeted renovation
An existing conventional squash room may call for a glass back wall system, while a new venue may require an all-glass court. Survey the retained structure before ordering replacement components.
For padel court supply, agree the equipment package independently of civil works, drainage, electrical connections and installation. Plan receiving inspection and safe storage around the site programme so an early delivery does not become an obstacle to unfinished construction.
BEFORE PROCUREMENT
Thailand court supply: your questions.
What changes when the Thai venue is a resort with restricted access?
The unloading point, onward transfer, storage and permitted working periods need a site-specific plan. Share those restrictions before the shipment is arranged.
Can a roof be selected without reviewing the base?
The local project team should coordinate the roof, court and foundation interfaces together. Do not assume that choosing a roof option settles its engineering requirements.
